My gallery shows a selection of my paintings – usually wildlife as the main subject or landscapes with wildlife. I prefer to use Acrylics but find Oil paints better for some subjects. I enjoy using pastels and pencil for sketches.

I have been interested in art for many years and when I began painting my main subjects were the more exotic species including Tigers, Elephants, Bears and Lions. As I lived in Nigeria during my childhood this probably influenced me, although I never saw any big game up close, just the occassional snake, exotic bird and myriad of insects.

After living in London for many years I moved to the countryside on the Somerset/Dorset borders. Here I experienced first hand more of the local willdlife, which I attempt to catch on canvas.
